Flight Information

General Flight Information

Our flying programme to Turkey mostly utilises PEGASUS. This airline doesn’t provides in-flight meals or entertainment. They will be offering their usual bar service with a range of alcoholic and soft drinks and in addition they will be selling sandwiches and snacks from the trolley, for which a charge will be made (payable in UK sterling or Turkish Lira). It may be advisable for passengers to take a “picnic” style meal on board in case the refreshments range is limited, or that they sell out. This is particularly useful if you are travelling as a family with young children – or if you have particular dietary needs that probably will not be able to be met by the on-board limited snacks.

Flight Times

Please carefully note: Flight times are compiled many months in advance and are subject to alteration. At the date of publication of our brochure and flight schedule for the season – times planned are as accurate as they can be. We will advise you of any major changes if they occur.
We reserve the right to substitute alternative carriers and/or aircraft types. Any such alterations will not entitle you to cancel your booking except in accordance with our booking terms and conditions. We therefore accept bookings on those flights subject to their operation and licences granted by the appropriate Civil Aviation Authorities.

Flight Tickets / Luggage Labels

IMPORTANT: Because we know that price is important to our customers, we keep our own costs down and pass on the savings to you, reflected in cheaper holiday prices. So, we DO NOT issue flight tickets or luggage labels and you will need to refer to the flight timings shown on your final invoice provided to you before departure. At the departure airport check-in desk, simply produce your invoice and a valid passport then your boarding pass will be issued. It is essential that the name(s) on your passport match exactly those which appear on your invoice. Please check our invoice carefully so that you have enough time to amend names if they are incorrect (our admin department will do this for you – but you may incur an amendment fee to do this)

Baggage Allowance

You may choose from our optional extras to add baggage allowance for your trip - we charge £20 for a full 20 kgs(44lbs) luggage allowance per person. You may take on board a small item of hand luggage weighing up to 5kgs per person (free of charge) - but we advise that you check with your departure airport before you travel – to reconfirm their up-to-date hand baggage regulations. (NB – there is no luggage allowance for hold/hand baggage for infants)

Travelling When Pregnant

Different airlines apply different rules to women who wish to fly during pregnancy, but most Airline regulations state that women 28 weeks or more into pregnancy at the time of return travel must have a medical certificate of fitness to travel. Normally after 32 weeks permission to travel is refused. The note from your doctor or midwife should state your date of confinement, that the pregnancy is single and uncomplicated and that you are fit to fly. For multiple pregnancies (eg Twins) – we recommend that you contact the airline to check what they will require and the latest week that they will allow you to travel). Please ensure that you have adequate insurance cover for the entire trip as many policies cover only up to the 28th week.
